Töne vor der Tür - Neukölln - 17 June 2018

This was an amazing street music festival, held around some small bars in the Neukölln area of Berlin. Superbly relaxed atmosphere and featured many singers and musicians, including the talented Pan Chimzee. You can see the attention he gathers when he starts playing, it is quite magical how everybody stops what they are doing to listen! This is probably my favourite set of shots.

Photos taken with a Nikon D750.

I also recorded some video of Pan's first set. It was a snap decision so I wasn't prepared, and I had to use beer mats to position the camera, but it turned out OK I think. The camera's built-in mic picks up a lot of surrounding sounds which is kind of nice.
