Midnight Court (ish) at the ufa Fabrik, Tempelhof - 21 March 2026

Below are the shots and videos I made at the ufa Fabrik on Saturday 21 March 2026. It was a great opportunity for me to test the capabilities of my new camera (Nikon Z6III) and audio recorder (TASCAM DR-07XP) in a real-world situation. I made a few mistakes but have learnt from them and have found ways to improve. I am absolutely blown away with the results. In a low-light environment, the camera is incredible. This was my first attempt at video and I'm very happy with the footage. There are so many settings to get the best out of the camera and many more settings that have to be made in post production, but I think I have most of them sorted now. The software I use for editing video is DaVinci Resolve. It is a fantastic (and free) programme, but a huge learning curve. With this footage and audio to work with, I am now getting used to the basics. I am very grateful to the band and venue for allowing me this opportunity.

Although I shot the videos in 4K at 60 frames per second, the files are too large for smooth streaming so I have reduced the resoltion to 1080 HD here. They still look amazing!
